Gorilla System Requirements
Gorilla includes everything needed to run the application. No additional software purchase is required.
Important: Before purchasing or installing Gorilla, please confirm that your Mac or Windows computer meets the requirements for the Gorilla version you plan to use.

Gorilla 11.5 Mac Requirements
Minimum
- Operating System: macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Tahoe 26, or macOS Sequoia 15
- Processor: Intel Mac or Apple Silicon Mac
- Memory: 4 GB RAM minimum
- Internet: Internet connectivity required
Recommended
- Operating System: macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Tahoe 26, or macOS Sequoia 15
- Processor: Apple Silicon recommended; modern Intel Macs are also supported
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or more recommended
- Internet: Internet connectivity required
Older macOS Versions
Using macOS Sonoma, Ventura, or Monterey?
macOS Sonoma 14: Use Gorilla 11. Gorilla 11.5 requires a newer version of macOS and is not intended for macOS Sonoma 14.
macOS Ventura 13 or macOS Monterey 12: Use Gorilla 8. These older Gorilla downloads are being kept available for customers whose Macs cannot be upgraded to a newer version of macOS.
For the best compatibility, use the newest Gorilla version supported by your operating system. Newer Gorilla releases are designed for newer versions of macOS and may not install or run correctly on older systems.
About Gorilla 11.5
Gorilla 11.5 is the recommended Mac version for current systems. It is designed for newer versions of macOS and current Apple Silicon hardware.
If you are purchasing Gorilla for a newer Mac, including a new Apple Silicon Mac, choose Gorilla 11.5 unless Jungle Software support has instructed you otherwise.
Windows Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise 24H2 or Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise 22H2, 64-bit only
- Processor: Intel or AMD processor
- Memory: 2 GB RAM minimum; 4 GB or more recommended
- Internet: Internet connectivity required
For best results, keep Windows fully updated before installing Gorilla.
Installation Notes
- Internet access is required for activation, subscription validation, updates, and some connected features.
- On macOS and Windows, security settings may ask you to allow Gorilla access to your Documents folder.
- Do not move, rename, or delete the Gorilla folder in your Documents folder unless instructed by Jungle Software support.
