Edit Screenplay – You can now edit the screenplay on each breakdown. Add, modify, or delete characters, dialogue, action, parentheticals, and transitions.
Print Screenplay -Ability to print a scene (Screenplay display), or a range of Scenes (i.e. 1 – 6).
Export Gorilla to Final Draft – Not only can you edit your screenplay display on the breakdown sheets and print out scenes including action and dialogue, but this new feature allows you to export your breakdowns back to Final Draft to create a full screenplay file for editing.
Export Gorilla to Movie Magic Scheduling – You now have the option of exporting Breakdowns and Tagged Elements to an .fdx file, which can then be converted to the .sex file format for import into Movie Magic Scheduling.
Make Fringe Range (Combine Line Items) – You can now combine detail line items (such as Prep/Shoot/Wrap lines for a single entry) for Fringe Cutoff purposes in a new feature called: Make Fringe Range.
Koala Call Sheets Integration – Gorilla’s native call sheet has been replaced with Koala Call Sheets full integration. This is an add-on feature which can be purchased separately which allows you to print and export call sheets with many more options including multiple templates, meal integration, real-time weather input, and much more.
Add Time to Banners -You can now add an estimated time (hour and minutes) to a banner on the Stripboard, which will calculate for the day.
Shot/Not Shot Status for Scenes – Specify on the breakdown if the scene has been “Shot” or “Not Shot”. Option to show a green flag on the strip when printing Stripboard if a scene has been shot (in Stripboard Functions preferences).
Import Budget from Movie Magic Budgeting – You can now import an .xml file exported from Movie Magic Budgeting v10 into Gorilla Budgeting. Import from Movie Magic Budgeting v7 (text file), is still supported.
Scene Timing – A new tab labeled “Scene Timing” is not on the Breakdown Sheets screen. You can add tasks for the scene here, such as Prep Camera, Prep Lighting, Block Scene, Rehearse Scene, etc. with start and end times. The total time now overrides the manually entered ESTIMATED TIME which is shown on the Breakdown and on the Stripboard.
Hide [Do Not Print] Budget Section – You can now hide (grey out) an entire budget section so that it does not print on Topsheet or Detail reports, and therefore does not calculate in the totals. This allows you to print a budget with only PRODUCTION lines, for example.
Remove Scheduled Elements – A new feature allows you to remove ALL scheduled elements for a scene in one click, as opposed to removing them one at a time. This feature is available under the Breakdown pull-down menu.
Duplicate Topsheet Account – Available on the Topsheet, you can now duplicate an entire Category – which duplicates the Category, Account, and Detail line items to another Section of the budget or an entirely different budget.
Import Companies/Vendors -Ability to import companies/vendors from another loaded schedule or a text file.
Main Location – You can now specify a “Main Location” for a set of scenes for a shoot day. This will display the main location on the call sheet if more than one location is specified on a different scene to be shot on that day.
Block 4th Level Item -When importing an Excel spreadsheet to the 4th level, you now have the ability to block items individually.
Customize Synopsis Length – Ability to fine tune synopsis line length on the printed stripboard (or PDF) by Character or Word length.
Auto Backup Stripboard – Each time you save the stripboard, an Excel file backup of the board is created. This option can be turned on or off in the Stripboard Functions tab in Scheduling Preferences.
